Heart Reigns

It’s been a lonely, sleepless nights since you’re gone
Every moment I think of you, my tears rolled down
My life becomes worthless, so miserably damn
I tried to move on but I don’t think if I can

Losing someone like you is losing my whole life
Now afraid to face the world alone, without you by my side
I even tried to smile to forget everything for a while
Knowing it would remove the feelings I felt inside

But my heart and mind doesn’t work together anymore
While my heart still searching for you, my mind says, it’s over
While I’m trying to forget everything that we’ve been through
My heart makes me remember how much I love you

Maybe it’s true that in loving, we must be like a soldier
We must know when to fight and when to surrender
But soldiers stop fighting because that’s what their mind says
Unlike in my case, my heart reigns in all ways.
