Heart Cry
While you are away
I will try not to be sad
You know this will be hard
I will miss you so damn bad.
My nights filled with longing
My days with sorrow
Waiting for your return
Why can’t it be tomorrow?
It seems an eternity to me
Without you for one day
To be without you for eleven
Is too hard to even say.
You tell me not to cry
I’ll tell you why I do
The tears come from my heart
The pain of missing you.
I have this love for you
More vast than the sky
When you are not with me
It makes my heart cry.
