Heart Cold As Ice

Heart cold as ice, the eyes don’t smile Vacuous is the stare Warm embrace is now not in style Gone is the touch of care How long can we pretend What is there left to tend When there’s no ear to lend The soul’s demise Heart cold as ice

This relates to an observation. The possible cause is a blocked heart chakra. When we are self-absorbed, self-centred, too much into materialism, we are entrapped by ego cravings. In such cases, heart is not porous, not receptive, not warm.
