Heart Broken

Hard hit on the inside with a devastating impact
Ending a pleasure once enjoyed and cherished
All events in this situation presents with a heavy baggage
Rendering sadness to a degree nature avoids
To meet a turning point in life’s book of experiences.

Breathlessness, the soul suffers from a mourning mind
Ravaging condition from death, failed love or betrayal
On a heart on total submission to the vanquished blessing
Kicks, felt from the torments of good memories
Enslaving in thoughts, imaginations, questions and wishes
None giving an answer as the only way forward is to move on.

Very well thought out and well expressed. When we lose someone or something we love very much there is a deep sense of emptiness that only that person or thing can fill and we are filled with anguish and regret. Moving on is hard but necessary. Great Job. God Bless, JB

Poetry on heartbreak is an important contribution b/c who among us has not suffered this way? Who has gone through life unscathed by this delima of loving unconditionally but not receiving that in return. I think you did an excellent job of showing injury, pain, the thought of healing and the going on b/c...we must. Nicely done!
