Heart Break Hotel

I know this road; I remember it more and more, It leads me to, and from love’s door. She said, “Love has a big meaning, for a man like me, She did not want me, but others as well you see. I remember the road that leads from love, to heart breaks front door. She fooled me into love, all over again, Then she suddenly left me with love’s aching pain. She said we should stop, but it would be hard, So I wrote her a note and left when she dropped her guard. Yes, I remember the feeling when I walked through heartbreak’s door I gave her my all, and risked everything I had, Just to love her and to be loved, I know, it is sad. Now I know you will say Sid you will find that true love The one that is ordained from above Alas, I have walked through heartbreak’s front door, Alas, love for me; I will not do anymore.

You said exactly what I feel in my heart. How many times can you open yourself to new relationships only to be crushed. I'm not about to make another entrance "through heartbreak's front door." Love, Carolyn
