Heart Break Express

I'm standing with my ticket...
they're forming a line.
Where am I going? I'll tell you in time.
The pain and the hurt that I carry inside,
leaves my heart broken...frozen in time.

The heart break express is where I am bound.
Another relationship run in the ground.
" Better luck next time," my friends they all say,
and there will be a next time if you don't change your ways.

I looked at my watch...but the numbers weren't straight.
Will the train be early?...or will it be late?
Just then the train arrives...we all get on board...
our tickets get punched as we step through the doors.

The heart break express is where I am bound.
Another relationship run in the ground.
" Better luck next time," my friends they say,
and there will be a next time if you don't change your ways.

Fear strikes me inside as I'm taking a seat...
the train looks familiar...but I just couldn't speak.
Time rushes by...I reach for the door...
for I've ridden this train to nowhere before.

The heart break express is where I am bound.
Another relationship run in the ground.
" Better luck next time," my friends they say,
and there will be a next time if you don't change your ways.
