Heart & Soul
The tears are from the eyes of an innocent one
"But why?" You ask.
It's simple,
her heart has broken
her body feels worthless
she feels he took her heart right
she feels her soul was crushed
Is that a good enough answer
She hurts.
Her heart can't stand the pain
Her heart is still so sensitive
She'll get stronger
He'll heal soon
But In time she will learn
that all broken hearts heal
and souls never crush
or never die
unless a person dies
so soon enough she'll learn
that she will always have a heart & soul.
