Joe, your poem beautifully intertwines spiritual themes, drawing on imagery from religious texts. It speaks with sense of urgency and reassurance, emphasizing faith and divine wisdom. There's a powerful message about listening to the true word and understanding one's place in a larger divine plan.

The poem has the force and cadence of a prophetic exhortation. Its biblical imagery and repeated invocations create a strong devotional atmosphere, and the speaker’s conviction carries clearly throughout. The closing emphasis on the living, far-reaching Word gives the piece an especially urgent and resonant finish.
