Hear Me
Sometimes i'm lost
sometimes i'm found
and the voice inside my mind keeps screaming just be happy
but it's not that easy
Every step I take inches me forward into another lane of sadness
I wonder if anyone's watching
I wonder if anyone can hear me
Can they see that i'm drifting off
i'm nearing unchartered territory
soon I'll be gone and you won't be able to pull me back
do they hear my voice as it echos from afar
Notice the tears that I tried to hide behind my eyes
the many sighs
the smiles that I try to prepare to seem happy
don't take pity on me though cause this state i'm in was bound to happen
it's a never ending cycle and it's my destiny to be unhappy.
