Heads Up

Sometimes I sit and wonder if we got it all wrong
Staring down at our feet as the world spins along

Could pick up our head to start seeing in a new light
Realizing beauty is abound if we adjust our eyesight

Opportunities unlock when we zoom out our focus
Things we missed before are now suddenly noticed

Might even look up to see the sun shining brighter
Allowing us to move through our days a little lighter

Dear Mike, your lovely verse shines with truth, wisdom and optimism for what can be “if we adjust our eyesight” and mindset. Thoughtful and thought-provoking. Congratulations for your wonderful win in Brian’s contest. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
