Heading South

The sky turned black, annual migration from the northern snow
In a perfect V, honking all the way
Canadian Geese, flying to the winter sun of Old Mexico

Hey Danny, I'm in North Carolina and I see geese migrating. I don't know if they're Canadian or not but I love seeing them and I love your poem...Marty

Excellent imagery, Danny! Since I live in the South now, I miss seeing this amazing sight. As a girl in NJ, I used to stare at their "annual migration" for hours. Beautiful write! Love, Carolyn
