Headed For Midway Island

To beautiful glorious Hawaiian Midway Island I am bound.
Terrific hope in my heart, and an old 70’s boom-box for sound.
You cannot stop me. Headed for the ocean, I want to feel alive!
Then I will ask my grandma. She does not care that I am only five!

"Then I will ask my grandma." heeheehee! When you couldn't get a "yes" from either parent- this was always the next stop! ;D Lovely!!!

I am afraid this grandma's go to is "yes" but to way too many people, and many of them not my grandchildren.

I bet you were quite a handful at five, Caren!

I would certainly hope so, my friend. I know I had to wear a dunce hat in first grade and sit by the door while all the children were released for recess so they would all see what happens when a first grader yells "NO!" at a teacher.
