The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Head Over Heals ?

And I believed
love should hurt to some degree,
It must be love!
I hung on every word you said
Like a noose around my neck.
You pulled the strings,
A master puppeteer
I was safe in your hands.
I thought
it was exciting,
the way you moved me.
I hardly questioned
The tightness of your grasp,
Because love was meant to hurt to some degree.

Because love was meant to hurt to some degree
The tightness of your grasp
I hardly questioned.
The way you moved me
It was exciting.
I thought
I was safe in your hands.
A master puppeteer,
You pulled the strings
Like a noose around my neck,
I hung on every word, you said:
“It must be love,
love should hurt to some degree”
And I believed.
