He Won'T Forsake You
He Won’t Forsake You
If you feel downtrodden
If you feel all alone
If you’ve lost all hope- with
No one to call-
If you need a friend and
you are hurting deep down inside
Just call the name (Jesus)
And he will be there by your side.
Look to the heavens
The answer will become clear
Look to the Lord and
love will be near-
There is no greater love, no, not one, like the love
which abound from the above-
Before I came to believe
I was conflicted and consumed by despair
I was lossed I had no love; I didn’t care-
I wanted to go down the well
Never to be seen again
I want to run away from everything- and just disappear.
A warm breeze touches my ear
Then I did hear- do not cry for, you are not alone
I am near- I am here-
Therefore, I speak from the heart
And from what I know
God will lead you wherever you need to go
He will lift you and carry you if that is what you need,
And he’ll never- ever forsake you- no, no, not ever-
God won’t forsake you!
