He Was Never True

About him is a certain style
So special he makes one feel
My lips he brings a daily smile
His feelings you think are real

When he moves on oh the pain
As he shows his uncaring way
On your heart he'll leave a stain
Along with the price you'll pay

Time moves on, you finally see
His attention given to one new
Another he gives the same glee
Now you see he was never true

Ahhh. I thought I had commented here previous...obviously not. As always, in your rhyming poetry, skips delightfully along; prefer your more upbeat moods though, Brenda...still -- a decent little poem! Lots of hugs. :) john

Sadly our world is full of people like that Brenda, great at putting on the charm and sucking you in but after a while you see through it, hopefully not too late. Tom.
