He Stood On Hollowed Ground

He stood on hollowed ground
And the multitudes came
His words touched their hearts
And when they left the would never again be the same
He spoke in simple story forms for all to understand
Captivating the attention of the young and old
He spoke of love and peace
And the brotherhood of man
He was sent by the Father
So we all might live again
And yet they never know or tried to understand
He stood on hollowed ground
And knew he would soon have to leave
He raised His eyes to heaven
And prayed they would soon see and believe
