He Spoke

He Spoke Carried about by the storm of emotion, Over a wild and boundless ocean, My heart was like a ship at sea, And no one cared to rescue me. Or, so it seemed, until I met, A Man that I shall ne'er forget, He spoke, the Master spoke to me, And life the same shall never be, He said, "I know your needs, that's why, I went to Calvary to die, The ocean, once so threatening, Bowed down to meet my Lord and King. I'm so sorry for your loss, Arlene. Take comfort from the fact the your little one is with Jesus. So thankful you had support and prayers from other Kind Christians.

Hi Laura, Thanks for your continuing support and encouragement! This poem has a very deep personal meaning for me. I was in a very deep depression after my infant daughter died at birth but experienced a beautiful healing through the prayers of a gifted layman.

Very nice. I liked how you tied in the sea into your poem, it reminds me of how Simon Peter and Andrew met Jesus while they were fishing and how their faith led them to follow him. Great job.
