He Saved Me

From the depth of my heart,
A scar that only He can understand.
A breath of a lost girl,
finding a way to seek you.

A feeling of betrayal,
abandonment and not contentment.
Why must it come to this point?
it's nothing but regret.

But you called me in the darkness,
You transformed my mind.
You healed me,oh Lord.
Now I am restored.

A face I cannot picture,
A distance I cannot measure.
But the heavens says it all,
You saved me when I failed and if I fall.

After all I've been through,
My life has come to this.
You work in silent ways,
In my life that has a crooked maze.

I still feel ashamed,
A stain that has always remained.
But Lord, you saved me.
This wonderful feeling of being free.
