He Said It Best

Best, He said it best
When time had come for Him to die
Jesus read throughout the bible
No warnings found
None caught His eye
He stood in line
For least an hour
No name called out
No blood was drawn
To past the test
The blood be pure
Blood line be strong
Richly raised
Supremely born
All of His life He clearly heard
Son You are the chosen
It is written in the Word
Fate is set
But yet instead
The guy in front
Took all the brunt
Hung on a cross
Was put to death
