He Opposed Every Idea We Had

He was emphatically opposed to every suggestion his co-workers ever had Each idea distorted, contorted. Un-thought out, would not work, Would fail, falling on its face. A new optimist was brought to us on Tuesday. Her ideas were torn apart by him Slapped down, killed, Hung, strung, annihilated, Butchered, sliced, diced. She could not stop laughing. For some reason this intrigued him. He changed, and allowed two of her weird ideas to be written up into policy. Optimism in action!

I try to be, but at my age I am now invisible. When a younger one finally picks up on the idea I have been saying sixteen ways, and she says it - it is immediately heralded a huge success. Thus two more years is probably all I can stand.
