He Needs a Father
Weakness is not being hurt or sad,
Weakness is giving up.
It's not the fact that you get mad,
It's the fact your hand's are up..
Refusing to move forward in time,
Playing the victim as a roll.
I understand your not feeling too fine,
Instead of rising you fold..
Arms crossed behind a barrier wall,
No one can reach you inside.
Shrunken down your no longer tall,
you took the hit as well as your pride.
Open your eyes to see reality,
Your son should be your life.
Instead your hung up on somebody,
When he need's your strength to strife.
She is only the mother to your son,
Not the water or air you need.
He need's a daddy he's your son,
She isn't the reason you will succeed..
A good father will not let anything come in his way,
A good father is a man who will fight to see his child everyday.
A good father will accept what he cannot change,
As well as change what he can..
You two are no longer a team,
She is pregnant by another man.
Time to put aside all that is mean,
And rise above and be a father..
He needs you now more than ever...
Let it go and breathe....
