He Is Not You

He says the words to me
I long for you to say

He does the things for me
I long for you to do

He feels for me the way
I long for you to feel

From the depths of my soul
oh how I wish he were you

Very powerful, why is it that the person we desire is so different from the person we need them to be?? Still we are inexplicably attracted to them.
