He Is God

Some might say, God is just a fairytale.
Believe in Him and you will only fail.
But I say that their words will just deceive
So, I choose to believe… in Him.
It really isn’t such a mystery.
For life is so much bigger than just me.
And I find so much comfort in this thought…
 	He is God!
 	And I am not!

Some might say, faith is only for the fool.
So, give it up if you want to be cool.
But I say, we are nothing without grace
So, I will put my faith… in Him.
The more I look around, the more I see
How my life is much bigger than just me.
And I don’t care what so-called experts taught
 	He is God!
 	And I am not!

Some might say, it is nothing but a waste
For us to try to see His holy face.
But I say, life eternal I’ll receive
For I choose to believe… in Him.
I just accept it with humility.
That my life is much bigger than just me.
It doesn’t matter what I think I’ve got.
 	He is God!
 	And I am not!

Excellent poem and true. There is a quote that says if you are right I have led a good life then nothing but if I am right you will be in big trouble--something to that effect
