He Got His Wings

He Got His Wings
I know you are hurting
I can see your pain
The loss of a loved one is heartbreaking
But he is on a higher plain
Remember the times of happiness
Remember the times of the wild
Remember the things that made you laugh
and the things that made you smile
I know its hard to believe
that he is now gone
but don't hold him in bondage
Let his spirit move on
The physical body has passed away
No longer holding the wounded flesh
He is transcending to another place
wearing a warrior vest
The essence of his being will forever be remembered
Hear the Angels Sing
See him flying freely
God's King has his Wings
