He Did Once Love Me
He did once love me,
I say this until the end,
He cared for me,
Like a man should,
As I thought no one could,
He let me go,
So I would know,
How to love,
Open my heart,
And to let me grow,
As I was young,
And he felt,
He couldn’t give me,
The life I wanted,
But wanted me to move forward,
With my life,
And to be happy,
As everyone should be,
So he did once love me,
He just let me free!
