He Did It She Did It We All Did It
we endure pain in all forms and we accept it because its how were built
time doesnt erase the scares that stain our pride it makes them fade
no doctor or surgery will make us all better were damaged goods
over the years we accept and try to move on but this is our reality
we make new friends and find more lovers underneath it all we soo discover
we are one with eachother we were brought to be alike we are doomed
we seek higher ground and search for our destination but were stuck
in a perfect world no of this would exist but we are human and it does
a country that believes inequal rights is the first one to take it away
we are beaten and stomped into the ground by the men and women
who are sworn to protect us we are raped and stripped of our dignity
by the system made to serve us true justice and the wicked go free
integrity lies between their knees and they expect it to be earned
a dollar here a billion over seas yet we are a nation living on the streets
our children are susposed to be our new hope but they die at the age of three
not from me or you but the stray bullet or two that killed her in her sleep
so you see going to pray and service on sunday is really a tempoary fix
we believe in one God the father almighty maker of Heaven and Earth
but the lives and hopes and dreams He created are all coming apart
so many wanna end this suffering yet we are the ones to blame
