He Cries

He Cries
He cries for peace and love.
Yet we still fright for freedom.
He cries for his fellow men, but still the war goes on.
In these hard times he cries for the fallen.
The battle is not yet won the war rages on.
He cries for God to help him make it through .
As the bullets fly all around and the booms exploded over head.
He screams as the burning flesh surrounds him.
As another soul dies he cries.

Yes angelica, well said. We seem to overlook humanity in our quest to win and be the best. Nicely put!!! Well done Peace Fathima
