Having Never Known Love

At times, life weighs you down and wears you out:
having never known love, tears you apart:
for all you've ever felt is pain and doubt.
At times, life weighs you down and wears you out
trying to work out what it's all about:
for liars and cheats have broken your heart.
At times, life weighs you down and wears you out:
having never known love, tears you apart.

At times, life weighs you down and wears you out,
trying to work out what it's all about.
For all you've ever felt is pain and doubt:
having never known love, tears you apart.
For liars and cheats have broken your heart:
and you'd like to pause time and press restart.
