Have I stayed again too long?
Is it time for me to once again
Move on?
To leave you and go back to a place
Where you cannot follow me,
A place where together one time we were happy.
Our dreams and lives were so simple then,
Those happy memories call me back again and again.
But now I know it’s only a fantasy for you’re still there not here with me
Once again I’ve stayed too long
It’s time to send you back where you now belong
Our time together has come to an end.
But I know one day it will happen again
I will see your face and you will take my hand
No longer will you be a memory
I will once again be with and you will be with me.
