Hauntingly clear

Scattered belongings
Expired dreams
Incomplete ventures
Silent screams

Abandoned ideas
Deserted supplies
These walls, whisper truth
Nothing real survives

It reeks of intention
All purpose, decayed
The flesh is long gone
While carcasses stayed

Representing my failures
With invincible bones
Symbolic skeletons
Adorning my home

I’ll never escape
I must reside here
To dwell in regret
It’s hauntingly clear

We will often fail, but are given another opportunity. You have painted a sad picture. Hope you free yourself of your skeletons Anna.
