Haunting Memories

You came as a spawning tornado And turned my world upside down Sometimes I was the trailblazer Sometimes you wore that crown. You were not only my comrade and friend You were my redeemer as well You were my esteemed possession Like the precious pearl found with the shell. Together; you and me, we used to be To share our darkest enigma Blazing over the sunny days and starry nights Blessed by some heavenly stigma. What about the days and memories we spent? I miss those days, I miss you my friend I wish I could turn back the clock and time To avoid an unexpected and unbelievable end. Why did we move away? Why did you let it go? Did you find a better soul mate? And if its real, well I don’t want to know Life definitely won’t sojourn Nor will it suffer, if you are not there But it won’t be as much fun Without you; to lay my soul bare. I wish we could sit and talk again just like we used to do Relive those memories which always brought a smile You always meant so very much and always will do If only I could have you back just for a little while.
