Haunted Memories

Strange to find that time does ease the pain but the memories are never quite the same; they are forever haunted filled with ghostly images taunting what should have been; that me and you that slipped into the night hovers in the darkening sunlight and all the stars in heaven twinkle life still beckoning; vague become the experiences serious, unfamiliar memories dispersing delirious while your imagined presence fades your memory haunts the dreams you forgave.
