Haunted House

A Spooky Haunted Poem 8-12 lines of rhyme Poetry Contest
Tania Kitchin

As Halloween cuts through the night
Ghosts, goblins, and bats take flight
From the darkness of the skies
To a chilling house filled with cries
Waxed figures of humans unite
Frankenstein stands with his sprite
Inside the house, a skeleton's teeth chatter
A human's head is found on a platter
Spiders, rats, and black cats look at dinner
Haunted are those who are not a sinner
As the cries shake the haunted house
Frankenstein is looking for another spouse

Connie, did anyone ever tell you that your comments are better than your poems? This FRANKENSTEIN comment slash poem rocks. Why are you so witty? Save the good stuff for when you go on stage. And stop scaring Anne.

Anne—IT GETS WORSE---Inside Frankenstein’s net~Is a restrained pet~he found his catch~penned his match~then violence~followed by silence-the pumpkins churn~Frankenstein wants another turn. … boo. Ty for the well wishes. (((<>.<>)))
