Hate Monster Is Infecting Us All
There's no way to understand
What happened to our fellow man
We all used to be so kind
In our hearts you'd always find
Love, compassion, kindness too
Now we don't know what to do
There is violence all around
It is a deafening sound
To hear all the angry words
Coming out, it is absurd
It is getting worse each day
And it will not go away
Until we all ban as one
Reversing hate till it is gone
Friendliness can once again
Be part of a world wide plan
To get back to days of old
When compassion was like gold
Shining through the hearts of all
We can not let this world fall
Into negativity
It is up to you and me
Keeping the peace we used to know
Before the hurt started to grow
Infecting others with disease
That each day will soon increase
To another person who
Will become a victim too
Of this horrible sad curse
There's no need to make it worse
Knowing there's a simple way
To knock out and finally slay
This hate monster with our hearts
Seeing dark clouds soon depart
Bringing sunshine, joy and light
Back to everyone in sight
