Tired, after hours 
                 of too much poetry.
                 Now back to cold, 
                 harsh reality.
                 You so wish to live in
                 modes, planetary.
                 But there is wash to do,
                 and things delightfully,
                 blessedly ordinary.

Interesting twist here. Sometimes the cold harsh reality of the blessed ordinary is more welcome than another bout of poetry. Too much of anything dulls the sensibilities, I guess. My dad used to say, 'Everything in moderation.' You probably would have whaled on him. lol. But there was wisdom in what he said. Then again, even moderation can be taken to an extreme... Yes, oh yes, I am a an odd one. For me, the Pietry is always first. You can't imagine how long it takes to type my short poems and post them. Then COMMENT. FOR TYPISTS.,,fast...for me? Like crossing the Sahara. I even forget to eat. Re..your Dad..lol...my life saying is "nothing in moderation." JUst do what works for you. Appreciate you reading me.
