Harvest Moonlight

Black cat in the Harvest moonlight
Silent tip toes on soft paws
On this All Hallows night
Amber eyes and glistening claws

Watching from his throne in the sky
Missing nothing that passes by
Deciding if to pounce and kill
Or be quiet and still

Special powers on the magic night
One with the waxing moonlight
Instincts say flee or fight
Amber eyes glowing bright
