Harmonise

I want to write a happy song. A catchy song that's not too long. A song like Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-a-Dee-Day. Uncle Remus sang long ago in his day. I have the urge to write something that will cheer. Most things in the world today Seem miserable and drear. I want to hear laughter, Tapping of the feet. Music all around us Some dancing to the beat, Of a drum or slide Trombone I need to hear people singing, With others or alone. The elderly clapping, Waving hands in the air. They smile broadly, Without worry or care. Their bodies swaying with the rhythm, While sitting in a chair Music, and Rhythm, help the world go round. Rhythm and harmony, Have got to be found, Before this troubled world, Is safe and sound.

Aboriginals seldom complete a task without an accompanying song to guide them, but now you have reminded DeJong to incorporate "zip à D-Day" as the USPS Christmas theme song . . . .

Hula girls dance to soothing music from a beautiful Island. Their graceful hand movements make me think of the sea. All music and dance have different effects on emotions....

Singing is uplifting and good for the soul, helps to take away stress we’re told. A lovely happy poem you’ve written Shirley, keep singing… Belle
