Weeds flourish on parched ground Choke off the mantle of verdant lawns Shoot up through cracks in hard cement Strangle delicate flowers' ascent Weeds are hardy warriors Who every battle are destined to win ~ To Mother Nature's everlasting chagrin

I am always thrilled when I see a beautiful weed rising from a teensy crack in our asphalt. It instills hope.

You can say that again. I wonder if flowers were suddenly considered weeds if they grow much better and faster. :) This was nice my friend.
