Hard To Say

It's hard to say how this makes
Me feel about you
Don't know how to put it in
Words without hurting you
I don't want you to be alone
But I don't think I'm right for you
I hope this doesn't confuse you
Because it's kind of confusing to explain
Without drowning your eyes
I hope this doesn't change
How you feel about me
I wish I could help you understand
Why you can't be with me
It's not that I'm trying to be mean
But I don't know you
And I don't think you'll ever
Really know me
I hope you can understand where
I'm coming from
This is just so hard to say
