Happy People

Happy people always seem bright
have these people seen the light of day
and only survive when they try to stay Happy People
or do their smiling faces hold traces of sadness
and these so called Happy Folk
try to make a joke
of traumas lurking from their past
sorrows loom and bring gloom to these Happy People
who knows the answer to this anomaly certainly not I
Happiness for us all is only momentary
and hope before we die
we will all try to put a smile on our dial and for a time be
Happy People

Yes, Shirley (young lady), we all wear masks. Happiness is, simply, a state of mind. The same as any other emotion. These days our mask is a computer screen. "old duck"
