Happy New Year

Each new year is future, Until becomes the present, And finally arrives at past; Sun rises then sets down, Yet is the sun; Earth has to twirl around it, To seek dawn to dusk; Expected so much from the past, Would achieve this, Luck would kiss the feet, But failed, blame the fate; Had dreams unaccomplished, Always pending something still; Hoping new year, Would bring boon; But forget yearn never fulfilled, If one yearn is fulfilled, The other will emerge again; Lingers on until last breath in heart; Expect coming year, Would bring bliss, Relieve the pain without realizing, More the mental pain, When expect more; Nothing is complete, Always something is left For future to rise; Time will move as usual, From dawn to dusk And day to night; Let's pray today, "Let coming new year, Blossom from past seed sown"; Bring strength to live smiling, In sad and joy both; © Sadashivan Nair
