Happy New Year
They By
They came and they went
Just how was the time spent?
Did we make the best of it
Or should we have quit?
Are we prepared for what lies ahead?
Can we plan and avoid, instead?
No one knows
But we must live to expect those blows
It isn't up to us to worry about the future
Everything works out for the best, thats the only thing that ines for sure
You are never guaranteed a tomorrow, so live for today
Be sure that you've lived it up to the fullest in every way
Take each step in your best stride
Because you have just one chance to enjoy this ride
Dream of the person you will become and the things you will do,
But to yourself, always be sure to remain true
