Happy Mother's Day

Some mothers have children they care for now and here.
Some mothers teach others loving kindness and cheer.
Some mothers have children they yet to meet
With hopes of hearing those pattering feet.
These teach us to love and to laugh and to care.
They teach us to hope and to help and to share.
They heal our pains with one simple kiss
And show us the beauty we had already missed.
For all these reasons and many, many more
We shall thee always and forever adore.
