Happy Mother's Day

Where would any of us be
Without our guiding lights
The one who nursed us back to health
Through all our sleepless nights

The one who showed us patience
And taught us, right from wrong
She made us eat our vegetables
To make sure we'd grow up strong

The one who made us brush our teeth
And say our evening prayers
The one who wiped our tears away
To show us that she cares

The one who trapped those monsters
That were hiding beneath our beds
The one who tucked us in each night
And kissed us on our heads

She taught us all about Jesus
And of Heaven's Paradise
The one who gave us all she had
No matter, the sacrifice

There's no one like our mothers
Tho mine, has passed away
We thank you all, for all you give
And have a Happy Mother's Day
