Happy Hippie

I’m just a lingering hippie
Still living with my past
I’m just a happy hippie
Still bending sail and mast
I’m just an ageing sailor
Still rockin’ on time’s boat
I’m just an ageing sailor
Still hearing each vinyl note
I’m just a guy whose friends are old
Still dancing and wearing tie dye
I’m just a guy whose friends are old
Still stealin’ that gentle high
I’m just a lingering hippie
Still living the hippie way
I’m just a happy hippie
And this is how I'll stay
