Happy For a Moment
I'm happy today,
though I don't know why,
its such a good feeling,
to not want to cry.
Sadness has overcome me,
for far to long,
but now i'm going to smile,
and sing a joyous song.
A song of friendship,
or of a love so deep,
no songs of depression,
to disturb my sleep.
I've found my peace,
I've cleared my head,
from the disturbing thoughts,
that i always dread.
My heart don't hurt,
my minds at ease,
don't bring me down today,
i beg of you, please!
