Happy Father's Day God
Thank you for each of my children and my wonderful wife.
Thank you for their mothers through whom you gave life.
No matter what any of us think about You.
You honor your word and your love is so true!
I'm ashamed when I doubt that you'll come through.
But you always do and God I'm so grateful to you.
What reason would you the Creator need to lie?
Those you've created deny you before they even try.
I admit there's so much I don't know about you.
But I do know all my troubles you have got me through.
When I was in need you sent someone my way.
At just the right time with the right thing to say.
There have been sometimes while watching TV.
The person would say something that spoke directly to me.
One time I had no money to pay a large bill.
A Nurse wrote a check saying. "God told me and I will!'
Another time I was without shelter, had nowhere to go.
You flashed in my mind and the exact place you did show.
I left a car in Denver, because I had no money to pay.
The dealership threaten me with prison, then said it's ok.
"We'll write this one off and this matter is through.
I'm taken aback sir, why the Company's doing this for you!"
God, there are so many things and so many times.
That you have stepped in and it just blows my mind!
So many unexplained events, that I've seen you do.
I would have long given up Lord, had it not been for you.
You surely are there even though You I cannot see.
Every problem I've had, you have come through for me.
I wish the whole world knew just how much you really care.
To anyone that happens to read this, I say "Trust God, he's there!"
