Happy Ending
How do the stars shine so bright
while you and I are lost in the night,
And how does this world keep on turning
when all that's left is our innocence burning?
I wish I could go away and lose myself in dreams.
If I try, can I fly with broken wings?
Lord, please show me what to do.
Mm.. I wish I knew
Wish I could wake up in a new place -
look in the mirror, find a different face...
Yeah I wish I could go away and lose myself in dreams.
If I try, can I fly with broken wings?
There's a happy ending to my tale.
I've got hope and so I cannot fail
And I'm gonna rise into the sky
Yeah I'm gonna mend my wings and fly so....
Lord, please show me what to do
Yeah, I wish I knew.
Wish I could wake up in a new place,
look into the mirror, find a different face
Yeah, I wish I could go away and lose myself in dreams;
I'll try, yes I'll fly with broken wings.
There's a happy ending to this tale.
I've got hope and so I cannot fail
Watch me, see me, see me rise into the sky.
Watch me, see me, oh, with broken wings I fly.
With these broken wings I fly.
