Happy Christmas

The tree has been decorated
The presents are all wrapped
Nothing left to do now
There's time for a nap

Father is dressed
 In his santa suit
Waiting for the children to see him
And scream for their loot

Mother is hiding
Watching it all
Wanting to be there
Waiting for their call

She hears them calling
Mama of mama santa is here
Where is our father
He should be quite near

Santa has gifts
For one and for all
Oh hurry oh hurry
She heeds to their call

Father is missing
He won't have any fun
The children are excited
They jump and they run

Santa leaves with a mighty Ho Ho
And father appears in the foray
Sees the gifts they all have
Knows that they are all happy on this Christmas Day
