Happy Childhood Days

when winter winds come whistling bringing fields of newborn snow it brings back remembered memories of the years so long ago i can vision all my playmates all the real and make believe and the snow upon the sidewalks with the barren ice filled trees in the fields we played together building forts and sharing sleds till we heard our mothers calling come its time to go to bed in the morning we would listen to the early morning news and we always would be hoping for the closing of our schools now the years have passed so quickly i have children of my own as i watch them i am happy for the seeds that i have sown in the yard they build a snowman oh its such a childhood craze and it always brings back memories of my happy childhood days
